Attributes are divided into four sections in Celtic Heroes. The Stats page records all the core information about your character's development: Your name, level, and the amount of gold and platinum you have are displayed here, as well as the four main stats that govern your character.
Strength: Strength determines the amount of damage your character does in both melee and ranged combat. Warrior, Rangers, and Rogues will want to put points into strength.
Dexterity: Dexterity is a useful stat for all classes, particularly those who are likely to be involved in combat. It determines your chance to hit the enemy, as well as your chance to evade the enemy's attacks. The higher your dexterity, the more likely you are to successfully hit an enemy in combat, and the less likely they are to hit you. When determining your chance to hit, your dexterity is combined with your ability level in the type of weapon that you are using. As such high dexterity allows characters to use weapons effectively even if they have not received training in them.
Focus: Focus determines the total amount of energy your character has available to use skills and cast spells. Druids and Mages will want to put points into Focus.
Vitality: Vitality determines the total amount of hitpoints(or health) your character has available. When your hitpoints reach zero your character dies. Even though death in Celtic Heroes is only temporary, this statistic is useful to everyone, but particularly to those characters who are likely to take a lot of damage.
Upon leveling each player is awarded with 5 attribute points to spend. They can choose to spend these points in any of the four categories. Depending on your class some categories will be more useful to your character.
